It’s not only the flip flops in position. Even though McCain is trying to reclaim “flip-flop” as a right-wing description of any and all Democratic candidates, he himself is the king of flip-flops. It’s not just a matter of analyzing and deciding a position based on current facts and issues—unless you consider “pandering to special interest groups” to be an important issue.
But jeez, do we want a President who has no idea where he stands on any of the issues? Do we need another puppet of Karl Rove?
This is the first I’ve heard of it, but I’m sure glad I did. Apparently on the Colbert Report they made available a clip of John McCain making a certain rather bone-headed speech and challenged viewers to submit videos they edited from it.
