It’s been a long time since I’ve put any thought into the Savings and Loan Debacle, and I guess I never did know too much about it. Thanks to the Phoenix New Times for reprinting this article originally published on November 29, 1989. Right from his own constituents, see who was a horse’s ass, a liar, and a scoundrel of the worst kind.
