After last week’s propaganda debacle, MoveOn.org has released an amateurishly-edited video of Andrew Breitbart talking about his allegiance to al-Qaeda, proving that with video editing anything can be proven.
Breitbart and embattled RNC Chairman Michael Steele will be appearing side by side at an upcoming Republican event, just in case you’ve forgotten who works for whom.
Well, well, well. It turns out that our friends at the Department of Homeland Security have been posting anonymous racist comments to newspaper stories about immigration. How clever. Keep it classy, guys.
Once in a while I just like to play with the graphics program. Did you know that back in 2005, when asked if Dick Cheney would play a role in his administration should he be elected, McCain answered, “Hell, yes!”?
Remember when Joe Francis was going to offer Eliot Spitzer’s favorite escort a ton of money to feature in a sleazy video, but he withdrew the offer when it turned out she had participated in one of his “girls gone wild” spring break special parties? He already had all the footage he needed. All he had to do was burn it to a dvd and release it.
Except for a small and inconvenient detail – that she was 17 when she was talked into signing that release form. Now she’s suing him for a cool $10 million.
Go for it, girl. Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy. You deserve that money a lot more than he does.
I ran across this sort of combination book review and excerpt on the website of the New York Times. It explains perfectly what I have been trying to explain for years – that the Republican party has been taken over by corrupt neo-fascists and whack jobs, whose agenda has nothing to do with fiscal responsibility or even conservatism.
“I have this problem. Whenever I try to explain what’s happening in American politics-I mean, what’s really happening-I wind up sounding a bit like an unhinged conspiracy theorist. But honestly, I’m not. My politics are actually quite moderate. (Most real lefties, in fact, think I’m a Washington establishment sellout.) So please give let me a chance to explain myself when I tell you the following: American politics has been hijacked by a tiny coterie of right-wing economic extremists, some of them ideological zealots, others merely greedy, a few of them possibly insane. (Stay with me.)”
